Post-Baccalaureate Research Assistant Alumni

Elizabeth (“Lizzy”) Gunder, B.A.

Lizzy worked as a post-baccalaureate research assistant in both the Positive Youth Development Lab and Dr. Sean Mitchell’s Suicide Risk and Prevention Lab in 2023.

Lizzy is currently completing the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program at Texas Tech University.

Brooke Streicher, B.A.

Brooke worked as a post-baccalaureate research assistant in both the Positive Youth Development Lab and Dr. Sean Mitchell’s Suicide Risk and Prevention Lab from 2023-2025.

Brooke is currently completing the School Psychology Ph.D. Program at the University of Florida.

Destiny Rojas, B.A.

Destiny began working as a post-baccalaureate research assistant in both the Positive Youth Development Lab and Dr. Sean Mitchell’s Suicide Risk and Prevention Lab in 2024. She is continuing to work with Dr. Mitchell following Dr. Cooley’s departure from TTU.

Destiny ultimately plans to go to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
